ENGLAND DUO OUT OF SHEFFIELD CLASH

The England duo of Harvey Barnes and James Maddison have been ruled out of the Premier League meeting between Leicester City and bottom team Sheffield United.

According to popular English news outlet Leicestershire Live, The England attacking duo of James Maddison and Harvey Barnes will miss the game with the Blades as a result of injury.

It was disclosed that six Leicester City players will miss the Blades clash at the King Power Stadium this weekend. Ex-Norwich City playmaker Maddison has been missing since the win over Aston Villa last month. He suffered a hip injury during the game, which ended in a 2-1 win for the Foxes. James Maddison was responsible for the opening goal of that Premier League meeting between hosts Aston Villa and his Leicester City side.

Barnes was the other Leicester City goalscorer, while the home team got the lone goal through Burkina Faso attacker Bertrand Traore. On the part of Harvey Barnes, he has not played for Leicester City since he went off injured during the recent league game with Arsenal at home.

He was sorely missed during that Arsenal match as Leicester City succumbed to a 3-1 defeat at home to the Gunners. Leicester City took the lead during the Arsenal game through Belgian international Youri Tielemans in the opening minutes of the encounter before the Gunners fought back with goals from David Luiz, Alexandre Lacazette (penalty) and Nicholas Pepe.

Apart from the Three Lions of England duo Maddison and Barnes, four other Leicester City players will miss the upcoming league match with Sheffield United. They are club skipper Wes Morgan, Cengiz Under, England player James Justin and Belgian international Dennis Praet will all miss the game according to the publication from Leicestershire Live.
