ARSENAL NEED DEPTH

Submitted by isport

After failing to sign a number of their priority players in the past transfer window, Arsenal is believed to be preparing to make a bid for the Schalke duo of Julian Draxler and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar as the Premier League club are hoping to strengthen their squad in the summer when the transfer window opens once more.

The midfielder Julian Draxler is already expected to leave Schalke at the end of the current season but what still uncertain is to where he will be making his move as there are a number of clubs interested in signing him including: Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Manchester United and Arsenal.
The latest Skybet football review reckons he'll be heading to the Emirates stadium.

It seems hard to believe that Schalke will be letting him go to another Bundesliga club such as Borussia or Bayern Munich as those are their biggest opponents and it would only further strengthen their squads.

Arsenal is reportedly ready to offer as much as £36m in order to sign Draxler and they will be hoping to land Huntelaar for around £12m. Huntelaar has experience playing in Italy and Spain as he was a player of Ac.Milan and Real Madrid but he revealed his interest in playing in England, which means that Arsenal has a chance of signing him.

Arsene Wenger will be looking to create space for these new players by releasing some of his under-performing players such as: Nicklas Bendtner, Park-Chu Young and Lukas Podolski.

Real Madrid’s Alvaro Morata is another player on the wish-list of Arsene Wenger since the past transfer window but Carlo Ancelotti stated that none of his performers would leave the squad during January but now Arsenal has received newst that they will have to pay at least £25million in order to secure his services and lure him away from Real Madrid.
